Water supply buildings Žlutý kopec, Water tank complex in Old Brno, Czech Republic.
Three underground reservoirs span across a substantial area, featuring brick and concrete construction with intricate support systems of pillars and vaults.
The first water tank was constructed in 1874 by Thomas Docwra, followed by additional tanks in 1894 and 1917 to meet growing water demands.
The buildings represent industrial engineering developments of the 19th century and maintain protected status as cultural monuments of the Czech Republic.
Visitors can purchase tickets online or at the entrance, with prices ranging from 250 CZK for students and seniors to 350 CZK for adults.
The underground complex contains 87 concrete pillars and can hold over 30 million liters of water, making it the largest subterranean structure in Brno.
