Waging am See

Waging am See is a market municipality in the Traunstein district of Upper Bavaria, located along the shore of Waginger See. The community sits in a region known for its lakes and serves as a base for exploring the surrounding area.

The settlement gained market rights in the 14th century and remained under Salzburg prince-bishopric rule for centuries. It became part of Bavaria in 1810 following territorial reorganization.
