The Alte Silberschmiede is a protected artisan house at Pfladergasse 10 in Augsburg's Lechviertel, opposite the Pfladermühle. Built around 1250, it received its present form around 1550. The building served as a smithy until the late 19th century and now houses a boutique for gold, silver and platinum jewellery.

The building originated as a workshop and residence for silversmiths and documents Augsburg's craft heritage from medieval times onward. Its preservation reflects how important this metalworking tradition was for the city's development.

The name Alte Silberschmiede recalls the building's use as a smithy until the late 19th century. Augsburg table silver made in such workshops was prized at European princely courts as a mark of wealth and taste. Today a boutique for gold, silver and platinum jewellery occupies the house.
