Alte Pathologie Wehnen

The Alte Pathologie Wehnen is a memorial site located on the Karl-Jaspers-Klinik grounds in a building that originally functioned as a morgue facility. The structure features a cross-shaped design and now contains exhibitions presenting medical history during this period.

The building was constructed in the 1880s as a morgue and converted into a pathology department in 1936. Between 1933 and 1947, more than 1500 patients died here due to inadequate care and poor conditions.
