Schule Burgstraße

Schule Burgstraße is a vocational school and heritage monument in Hamburg-Mitte that teaches hairdressing, cosmetics, nursing, and healthcare assistance. The building provides instruction to approximately 2000 students across multiple occupational specialties.

The school formed in 2016 when two separate institutions merged: a healthcare training school and the long-standing Berufliche Schule Burgstraße. This combination brought together two established vocational training centers.

Students from diverse backgrounds participate in specialized programs, including migrant preparation courses and dual learning opportunities for professional development.

The newer building section houses a specialized learning area with practical training facilities where students work in realistic settings. These spaces are specifically arranged for hairdressing and cosmetics coursework.
