Brömserburg

Brömserburg is a medieval castle in Rüdesheim am Rhein with thick stone walls and a tower that sits on a hill above the Rhine River. The structure preserves its original defensive design and shows how fortifications were built to protect the region centuries ago.

The castle walls are about 2 meters (6 feet) thick and were never breached throughout the entire history of the fortress, despite many conflicts in the region. This strength made it one of the safest refuges of its time.
