Christuskirche

Christuskirche is a Protestant church in northern Speyer featuring a 45-meter (150-foot) concrete tower topped with a copper covering. The building shows textured red brick walls and stained glass windows that create patterns of colored light inside the sanctuary.

Construction began in 1961 with the vicarage, followed by the main sanctuary built between 1962 and 1964 under the design of architect Egon Freyer. This period reflects postwar church expansion and the modernist approach to religious architecture in Protestant communities.
