St. Bonifatius Church, Catholic parish church in Kreuzberg, Germany

St. Bonifatius Church is a parish church in the Gothic Revival style with a twin tower facade and large rose windows dominating its exterior. The red brick structure features pointed arches and a star-vaulted ceiling that rises above the main worship space.

The building was constructed between 1906 and 1907 under architect Max Hasak's design. After suffering damage during World War II, it underwent major restoration work in the 1960s to return it to use.

The parish serves as a gathering place for people from different backgrounds in the neighborhood. You can notice how the interior design and layout reflect its role as a spiritual center for the local community.

The church is located at a main intersection in the Kreuzberg district and is easy to find on foot. Keep in mind that access to the interior may be limited at certain times, so it helps to check ahead for visiting hours.

The church complex is surrounded by residential buildings that are integrated into the site itself, creating an unusual layout in the urban setting. The grounds house a restaurant that serves the local community and provides employment to people from the area.
