Dianaburg, Hunting lodge in Greifenstein, Germany.
The Dianaburg rises on a basalt hilltop in the Lahn-Dill district, featuring a tower design inspired by the Prague Charles Bridge architecture.
Ferdinand Prince of Solms-Braunfels commissioned the construction of Dianaburg between 1842 and 1843, with architect E. Stefan leading the project.
The lodge transformed from a royal hunting retreat to a public establishment in 1898, becoming a gathering place for student fraternities and local celebrations.
Visitors can access the cultural monument on the first Sunday of each month from April through November, with guided tours available of the preserved structure.
During World War I, the lodge's wooden cabin, which was later relocated to Leun as a barbecue hut, housed Russian prisoners.
