Erse Park

Erse Park is a recreational facility in Uetze featuring more than 40 different attractions such as roller coasters, water slides, and educational exhibits spread across 10 hectares of land. The park is divided into several themed areas, each offering its own adventure where visitors of all ages can find something to enjoy.

The park was founded in 1976 and evolved from a small recreational area into a major entertainment destination in the Hannover region. Over the decades, new attractions have been continuously added to expand the offerings and appeal to visitors of different ages.

The Märchenwald section presents German fairy tales through interactive installations and characters that connect children with traditional stories. Visitors can experience these well-known narratives firsthand and understand how these tales have been shared across generations.

The park is easy to reach and offers sufficient parking spaces as well as picnic areas for guests visiting the grounds. It is recommended to arrive early to avoid peak times and have more time to explore the different sections.

Visitors can take boat rides through the Saurier-Reich section and encounter life-sized dinosaur replicas and prehistoric settlements along the water course. This boating adventure offers an unexpected perspective on prehistoric scenes and is often one of the most enjoyed experiences by children in the park.
