Kloster Fockenfeld, Architectural heritage monument in Bavaria, Germany

The monastery complex contains numerous buildings including workshops, towers, and monastery walls situated near Konnersreuth in the Tirschenreuth district.

Founded in 1156 by Herman van Stahleck, Kloster Fockenfeld belonged to Waldsassen Cistercian Monastery from 1362 until 1556 when it was secularized.

The monastery features a ceremonial hall decorated with The Last Supper painting by artist Elias Dollhopf, completed in 1768.

The monastery ceased operations in 2021 following the closure announcement by the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales in January 2018.

Swedish-Protestant troops plundered and burned the buildings in 1645 during the Thirty Years' War, leading to its complete reconstruction.
