Fernmeldeturm Bremen, Telecommunications tower in Mitte, Germany

The Fernmeldeturm Bremen rises 117 meters above the city center, featuring vertical window rows and a square base made of concrete with brick facade.

Deutsche Bundespost constructed the tower between 1959 and 1961, making it the highest building in Bremen during that period for broadcasting television signals.

The structure stands 730 meters northwest of Bremen's market square, marking a central point in the urban development of post-war telecommunications infrastructure.

Located at the intersection of Ölmühlenstraße and Corssengang, the tower maintains mobile communication functions while Deutsche Telekom operates as a tenant.

The tower received multiple renovations that changed its external appearance, yet maintained its position as a regional communications hub until 1986.
