Kirchentellinsfurter Baggersee

Kirchentellinsfurter Baggersee is a bathing lake near Tübingen spanning roughly 35 hectares with natural swimming areas throughout. Grassy banks surround the water and provide space for recreation, sunbathing, and casual outdoor activities.

This lake formed in the late 1980s from excavation work that extracted materials for building the nearby federal highway B27. The former quarry was gradually flooded and transformed into the swimming destination that exists today.
