Marienkirche Lippstadt

The Marienkirche features diagonal ribbed vaults that eliminate the need for middle nave walls, creating an effective use of light and space.

The Marienkirche was among the first churches in Westphalia to incorporate innovative ribbed vaults, influencing architectural designs in Bremen and Baltic region churches.
