Alevitische Gemeinde Deutschland

The Alevitische Gemeinde Deutschland is an umbrella organization for Alevi communities across Germany, based in Cologne. The federation brings together local groups throughout the country and provides spaces for religious gatherings, education, and member exchange.

The federation was established in 1989 and developed independently as its own organization rather than under Turkish control. This founding made it the first major center where Alevis in Germany could shape their own religious life.
