St. Giles, Parish church and architectural monument in Regnitzlosau, Germany.

St. Giles is a parish church and architectural monument in Regnitzlosau featuring a 36-meter tower and wooden pews with capacity for around 650 people. The ceiling is adorned with 105 painted panels that depict scenes from the New Testament.

The first parish in Regnitzlosau was established in 1294, and the church underwent major expansions between 1668 and 1705. These renovation phases created the building's form that remains today.

The baroque pulpit altar created in 1743 by Wolfgang Adam Knoll showcases key moments of salvation history like the Annunciation and nativity. These scenes shape the interior space and reflect how faith was expressed through art during that period.

The tower houses three historical bells, including one from the 14th century that was returned in 1947 after removal during World War II. Access is generally straightforward, allowing visitors to explore the interior and its decorations at a leisurely pace.

According to local records, building materials inexplicably moved from a spring site to the current location, influencing the choice of where to build. This tale reflects how early communities saw signs from above guiding the placement of sacred spaces.
