Rosso Bianco, Automobile museum in Aschaffenburg, Germany
Rosso Bianco is an automobile museum near Frankfurt displaying more than 200 sports cars across eight exhibition halls covering approximately 12,500 square meters. The collection centers on Italian and German vehicles spanning different eras and manufacturers.
Peter Kaus established the museum in 1987 after moving his collection from Frankfurt, rescuing many rare sports cars from being scrapped during the 1960s and 1970s. This rescue mission shaped the collection's character and led to its ongoing expansion.
The name combines red and white, honoring the founder's passion for Italian and German racing traditions expressed through their classic color schemes. You can see this appreciation reflected in how the cars are displayed throughout the halls.
The museum is open from April through October, Tuesday to Sunday, allowing visitors to see the entire collection comfortably in a single visit. The spacious exhibition halls make it easy to explore without crowding.
The collection holds the largest assembly of Alfa Romeo vehicles outside Italy and includes substantial holdings of rare Lancia and Ferrari models found nowhere else in Europe. This concentration of Italian marques makes the museum world-renowned among enthusiasts.
