Sandersdorf Castle, Medieval castle in Altmannstein, Germany
The castle displays a four-wing structure with gabled roofs, bay windows, and a colonnade along its western section overlooking the Schambachtal valley.
The Lords of Sandersdorf established the original fortress in the 12th century, with the current structure completed in 1646 following destruction during the Thirty Years' War.
The Chapel of St. Joseph contains artistic treasures including a crucifix by Ignaz Günther and a Romanesque tympanum on its exterior walls.
