St. Crucis-Kirche Bad Sooden-Allendorf

St. Crucis-Kirche features a single-nave hall design with Gothic elements, including ribbed vaults in the choir area and five large tracery windows.

The main Gothic structure dates back to the first half of the 14th century, while the tower was constructed in the 15th century.

The Protestant church contains a baroque stone altar from 1637 and a baroque pulpit created in 1684 by Heinrich Erdinger from Schmalkalden.

The church maintains regular Protestant services and can be found at Kirchplatz 1 in Bad Sooden-Allendorf, featuring a 65-meter-high bell tower.

The church incorporates remnants of a Romanesque predecessor building in its south wall, which was completed by 1386.
