Stadthaus Bonn, Municipal building in Nordstadt, Bonn, Germany
The Stadthaus consists of five office towers rising from a plinth base, reaching a height of 72 meters with 17 floors.
Construction of the Stadthaus took place between 1973 and 1978, during Bonn's period as the provisional capital of West Germany.
The Chronos 15 sculpture by Nicolas Schöffer, installed in 1977 in front of the building, originally featured moving parts.
The municipal building houses the city council chamber and numerous administrative offices serving Bonn's residents at Berliner Platz 2.
The structure's concrete supports showed significant damage in 2021, leading to plans for complete evacuation by 2027.
