The facility spans over 11 hectares along Wolziger Lake, featuring multiple accommodation buildings, sports fields, and water access points for various activities.

Founded on June 23, 1992, the center developed into a major destination for student groups, hosting over 120 school classes annually from across Germany.

The facility engages students in experiential learning through international exchanges, training programs, and collaborative projects focused on outdoor education and sports activities.

The center accommodates 252 guests in various room configurations, from single rooms to wooden houses, with 17 modern meeting spaces equipped for groups up to 300 people.

Students participate in the Research Time program where kindergarten and elementary groups spend three days exploring specific topics alongside their educators.
