Bismarck Tower, Memorial tower in Weimar, Germany.

This stone tower reaches 18.22 meters in height and stands on Wilhelmshöhe hilltop, featuring an iron brazier at its summit for signal fires.

The tower construction started in 1899 and opened in 1901, following a nationwide architectural competition that received 317 design submissions.

The structure represents one of 234 documented towers built across Germany between 1869 and 1934 to honor Chancellor Otto von Bismarck.

The tower contains 12 steps leading to an iron door adorned with a bronze relief of Bismarck created by sculptor Arnold Künne.

The entrance displays detailed stonework made from greywacke, while the interior houses an exhibition about Bismarck towers worldwide.
