Wasserturm, Water tower in Grafenwöhr, Germany

The 43.5-meter-high water tower features regional sandstone foundations, brick walls, and two large water tanks distributed across its eight floors.

Built between 1909 and 1911 under architect Sievers from Nuremberg, the tower survived World War II bombardments due to its camouflage paint.

The water tower contains exhibition spaces across three floors, displaying the history of the military training area since 2011.

The upper water tank, with a capacity of 450 cubic meters, continues to provide water pressure for the military training area network.

The US Army maintains a conference room on the second floor, while the roof houses a rotating aircraft beacon and a cannon silhouette.
