Lösecke house

The Lösecke House stands at Stintmarkt with a half-timbered facade facing the water and a brick facade towards the street front.

Built in the early 16th century for beer brewers, the building included a cellar that remained intact through multiple reconstructions over the centuries.

Georg von Lösecke established his wine business in 1888, hosting Sunday wine tastings that became regular gatherings for local merchants.

The building houses an Irish pub in the cellar, an Italian restaurant on the ground floor, and residential apartments on the upper levels.

After a destructive fire in 2013, the structure was rebuilt for 5.8 million euros, incorporating modern fire protection while maintaining historical design elements.
