Schloss Rezensried

Schloss Rezensried is a three-story castle with a mansard roof near Lake Ammersee, built with components from different periods. The property includes several preserved agricultural buildings and storage structures that show the working estate it once was.

The castle was built in the 17th and 18th centuries as a summer retreat for the abbots of Fürstenfeld Monastery. After secularization in 1803, it passed into private ownership and its function changed.
