The Copenhagen City Hall building rises 105.6 meters high and features a richly decorated exterior with a gilded statue of Absalon above the balcony.
The current city hall, completed in 1905, replaced three previous buildings that were destroyed by fires in 1728 and 1795 at different locations in Copenhagen.
The interior spaces display detailed murals, ornate stair railings, and host the Jens Olsen World Clock, representing Danish craftsmanship and engineering excellence.
Visitors can take guided tours in English at 1 PM on weekdays or climb 300 steps to reach the tower observation point at 11 AM and 2 PM.
The National Bank of Denmark issued a commemorative coin in 2007 featuring the distinctive tower of Copenhagen City Hall.
