Tivoli Friheden

Tivoli Friheden is an amusement park situated in Marselisborg Forest featuring around 40 rides, including four roller coasters, playgrounds, restaurants, and entertainment facilities spread across its grounds. The park also contains the Hermans cultural center, which accommodates up to 1,400 standing or 800 seated visitors.

The park opened in 1958 as an amusement destination, transforming from an earlier recreational area into a full-scale facility. This opening marked an important turning point in Aarhus leisure culture and established the location as a lasting community gathering place.
