Grevensvænge figurines, Bronze Age archaeological find in Zealand, Denmark
The collection includes seven bronze figurines depicting warriors with horned helmets, an acrobat, and a standing woman from ancient Nordic times.
Discovered in the late 18th century, the figurines were first documented by pastor Marcus Schnabel in 1779 through detailed drawings of four specimens.
The figurines suggest connections to early Germanic traditions, with warriors possibly representing divine twins known as Ashvins in Indo-European religious context.
Two remaining figurines from the original set of seven are displayed at the National Museum of Denmark in Copenhagen for public viewing.
Research indicates these figures might have been arranged on a ceremonial ship, similar to petroglyphs found at Tanumshede in Sweden.
