Kegnæs Lighthouse, Maritime navigation lighthouse in Kegnæs peninsula, Denmark.

The brick lighthouse structure reaches 18 meters in height and projects white, red, and green lights across the Little Belt strait waters.

Built in 1896 to replace the original 1845 tower, the lighthouse fell under German control in 1864 when Southern Jutland changed jurisdiction.

The lighthouse guides vessels through the Little Belt strait while representing maritime heritage for the local fishing community of Southern Als.

The structure emits three distinct light colors visible from different distances: white for 12 nautical miles, red and green for 9.5 nautical miles.

During World War II, German soldiers stationed in nearby wooden barracks guarded the lighthouse, which operated primarily for military vessels.
