Rolighed is an event venue and former country house located north of Copenhagen in Rudersdal Municipality. The main building from the early 20th century now provides conference spaces, classrooms, guest rooms in a former gardener's lodge, and a wellness center overlooking a lake.
The original structure dated from the 1780s and was owned by a Norwegian civil servant. The present main house was built in the 1920s when the estate underwent significant redevelopment.
The main building displays Danish architectural traditions through its white-plastered facade and understated proportions. Inside, the preserved furnishings reflect how Scandinavian design values continue to shape the space today.
The site sits in a quiet location outside the city while remaining well connected to the wider region. Visitors will find everything needed in one place, from meeting spaces to accommodations and dining options.
