Krogerup

The two-story brick structure features a high basement, slate-roofed design, and three prominent chimneys along its ridge overlooking landscaped grounds and forests.

Frederik Rostgaard von der Maase initiated the construction between 1772 and 1776, while Constantin Brun acquired it in 1810 and his son Carl renovated it in 1837.

The building transformed into Krogerup Folk High School in 1946 under theologian Hal Koch, establishing an educational institution within historical architecture.

The interior combines traditional elements with modern facilities, including offices, classrooms, a library, dining hall, kitchen, and accommodations for visitors and students.

The neoclassical renovation in 1837 added a second floor and changed the original mansard roof to a gabled design, marking a significant architectural transformation.
