Valaste Waterfall, Natural waterfall in Toila Rural Municipality, Estonia

The Valaste Waterfall drops 30.5 meters over the Baltic Klint limestone cliff, making it the highest waterfall in Estonia and adjacent territories.

The limestone layers visible at Valaste Waterfall formed over 400 million years ago, revealing the geological evolution of Estonia's northern coast.

Estonian nature enthusiasts regularly visit the waterfall throughout the year to document seasonal changes and natural formations through photography.

Visitors can access the waterfall via a double spiral staircase with viewing platforms, and find parking facilities and information signs at the site.

During winter months, the water spray freezes into large ice formations along the cliff face, transforming the waterfall into a natural ice sculpture.
