Ravila manor, Manor in Kose parish, Estonia.
Ravila Manor is a manor house in Kose Parish in northern Estonia built in multiple phases across different centuries. The property includes a main house, stone staircase facing the park, and several outbuildings set within a landscaped estate.
The property was first recorded in 1469 and passed through different ownership over the centuries. Following damage during the 1905 Revolution, it was rebuilt incorporating neo-Baroque design elements.
The manor grounds were home to writer Peter August Friedrich von Manteuffel and later managed by Alexander Otto Lesthal.
The manor sits in a rural location within Kose Parish and is best reached by personal transport. Visitors should verify access conditions beforehand as the property may have limited visiting hours or restrictions.
The Governor's House on the property served as the birthplace of Estonian photographer Arthur Lesthal. His brother Paul later became known as an insurance director with connections to the region.
