Suur Munamägi Tower, Observation tower in Rõuge Rural Municipality, Estonia
The concrete tower rises 29.1 meters high at the peak of Suur Munamägi, reaching a total elevation of 346.7 meters above sea level.
The current structure, completed in 1939, represents the fifth tower built on this site, using 36,000 bricks and 80 tons of cement in its construction.
The tower stands as Estonia's highest observation point, allowing visitors to see across the country's southern landscapes up to 50 kilometers in all directions.
The tower operates daily with seasonal hours, opening from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM during summer months and shorter hours during winter periods.
An elevator installation in 2005 modernized the structure, making the observation platform accessible to more visitors throughout the year.
