Punane torn, Medieval fortified tower in Pärnu, Estonia.
The Red Tower features red-colored walls and stands prominently at the southeast corner of the old city fortifications of Pärnu.
Built in the 15th century, this tower served as a prison facility within the defensive system of the medieval town of Uus-Pärnu.
The tower houses exhibits about local heritage, including a circular panoramic cinema showing an animated film about 15,000 years of regional history.
Visitors can access all levels of the tower, including the attic floor with its panoramic cinema, using a Museum Card for free entry.
The first floor contains historical reconstructions that show visitors how the tower looked during its operational period in the 1400s.
