Pyramid of Amenemhat III, Pyramid in Egypt
The Pyramid of Amenemhat III, also known as the Black Pyramid, is located in the royal necropolis of Dahshur.
Constructed during the Middle Kingdom period, it was once the largest structure in Egypt.
It represents the architectural evolution from step-sided to smooth-sided pyramids.
Today, it is partially collapsed and not open to the public.
Despite its decay, it remains a significant example of early pyramid development.
