Narmer Palette, Ancient artifact in Egypt
The Narmer Palette is a significant Egyptian archeological find, dating from about the 31st century BC.
It contains some of the earliest hieroglyphic inscriptions ever found.
The Palette is thought to depict the unification of Upper and Lower Egypt under King Narmer.
Today, it is displayed in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.
The Narmer Palette is one of the first historical records of political authority.
