Al-Fattah al-Alim mosque, Major mosque in New Administrative Capital, Egypt
The Al-Fattah al-Alim mosque features four 95-meter minarets and a central dome measuring 33 meters in diameter and 44 meters in height.
The inauguration of this religious complex took place on January 6, 2019, coinciding with the opening of the Middle East's largest cathedral in the new capital.
The mosque contains specialized halls for Quran memorization, religious education programs, and multiple spaces dedicated to promoting Islamic studies and community engagement.
The mosque accommodates 17,000 worshippers, with 6,500 in the main prayer hall, 1,200 in the women's section, and 7,000 in the outdoor courtyard.
The structure extends over 106 acres, incorporating a 408-meter ceremonial path, multiple domes, and dedicated spaces for various religious and social functions.
