Moralzarzal is a town in Madrid's mountain region, surrounded by green spaces and quiet paths. The village has a well-kept old center with traditional houses, a central square featuring historical fountains, and a church from the late 1500s that was recently restored.
The settlement developed in a region long shaped by stone quarrying, which continues to define its granite architecture today. The Church of San Miguel Arcángel was built from the late 1500s through the early 1600s and has been the historical core of the place ever since.

The clock tower on the town hall was gifted in 1886 by the famous bullfighter Salvador Sánchez Frascuelo, who fought some of his best bulls in this place. Locals affectionately call the clock Frascuelo to this day, keeping alive the connection between the village and this bullfighting legend.
