Palacio de los Gosálvez, French-style palace in Casas de Benítez, Spain

The Palacio de los Gosálvez stands near the Júcar River with 368 windows and 20 rooms distributed across its 520 square meters structure.

Built in 1902 by architect Luis Sáinz de los Terreros, the palace served as a maternity ward and shelter for displaced children during the Spanish Civil War.

The palace represents early 20th century Spanish aristocratic architecture, featuring marble floors, frescoed walls, and advanced amenities for its time period.

Access to the interior remains restricted due to structural deterioration, but visitors can observe the exterior and surrounding industrial complex remnants.

The garden contained plants imported from America and displayed a fountain donated by the wife of Russian Tsar Nicholas II.
