Chelva Church of Our Lady of the Angels

The Church of Our Lady of the Angels is a baroque building constructed with sturdy masonry and features an ornate altarpiece facade. This facade displays classical column orders arranged in tiers, creating a focal point within the interior.

Construction began in 1626 and took approximately 80 years to complete, reflecting the prolonged development of Spanish architecture during this period. The building represents the adaptation of classical forms to baroque architectural style.
