Ermita de la Mare de Déu de la Misericòrdia de Vinaròs

The Ermita de la Mare de Déu de la Misericòrdia de Vinaròs is a Baroque sanctuary situated on elevated ground with a Latin cross floor plan and sturdy masonry walls. The interior is adorned with ceramic tiles depicting pastoral scenes that cover the central nave courtyard.

The ceramic tiles decorating the interior come from Alcora workshops, a nearby pottery manufacturing center known for fine tilework. These hand-painted tiles featuring shepherds and animals showcase the craftsmanship of local artisans.
