Santa Maria de Balaguer, Gothic parish church in Balaguer, Spain.
The church features a single nave with side chapels between buttresses, an angular apse with seven sides, and star-shaped ribbed vaults.
Construction of Santa Maria began in 1351 following a donation from King Peter IV and continued until its consecration in February 1558.
The building holds the status of Cultural Asset of National Interest, reflecting its importance in Spanish architectural and religious heritage.
Three entrance portals provide access to the church: one on the western wall and two additional entrances on each side of the nave.
The octagonal bell tower contains four distinct levels separated by cornices and includes a spiral staircase leading to semicircular arched windows.
