The castle displays Art Deco elements with clean classical lines, featuring a vaulted dining room and neo-eighteenth-century salon across multiple floors.
Built between 1928 and 1930 by architect Louis Sue for Edouard Mignot, founder of Comptoirs Français food shops, replacing a 12th-century fortress.
The estate combines architectural excellence with garden design by Jean Claude Nicolas Forestier, who created symmetrical French-style landscaping around the building.
The castle remains in private ownership by Mignot's descendants but opens its doors for organized events and specific occasions throughout the year.
Richard Desvallieres contributed metalwork elements to the structure, while a new chapel called Oratoire was added in 2011 at the end of the walking path.
