Château de Sept-Saulx, Protected castle in Sept-Saulx, France.

Château de Sept-Saulx is a castle featuring Art Deco design with clean classical proportions spread across multiple levels. The interior contains a vaulted dining room and a neo-eighteenth-century salon that showcase the building's refined spatial planning.

The castle was constructed between 1928 and 1930 by architect Louis Sue for Edouard Mignot, founder of the Comptoirs Français food business. It replaced a medieval fortress from the twelfth century that previously occupied the site.

The estate showcases French garden design with symmetrical layouts that frame the building and reflect classical principles. This integration of landscaping with the structure creates a unified aesthetic vision throughout the grounds.

The building is privately owned and opens for organized events and specific occasions throughout the year. Check ahead to learn when visits are available and what experiences may be offered during your intended visit.

Craftsman Richard Desvallieres created decorative metalwork that enriches the building's interior details. A new chapel called Oratoire was added in 2011 at the end of the property's walking path.
