Château de Nogent-le-Roi

The Château de Nogent-le-Roi is a castle in the Centre-Val de Loire region with origins in medieval times but reconstructed in 19th-century form. Its structure includes a wall section between two square towers, with one tower still showing traces of its original medieval defense design.

The castle was originally a medieval fortress but suffered major damage during the French Revolution. The current structure was rebuilt in the 19th century as a significant effort to preserve the heritage of this historic site.
