Plage de l'Écluse

The central beach spans across a wide crescent of fine sand bordered by blue and white striped tents and a seawater swimming pool.

During the 19th century, British aristocrats established Dinard as their preferred coastal destination, leading to the construction of grand villas around Plage de l'Écluse.

The beach contains a collection of traditional wooden cabins that reflect the architectural heritage of Brittany's northern coastline.

Visitors can rent beach equipment including tents, loungers, and cabins, with lifeguards monitoring the area from June through September.

The outdoor seawater pool maintains water levels regardless of tides, allowing continuous swimming while the ocean retreats up to several hundred meters.
