Sulcis Park is a large protected natural area in southwestern Sardinia covering multiple municipalities with mountains and forests of varying heights. The area combines different landscapes from lower to higher elevations and includes forest reserves under nature protection.
The area shows traces of human settlement from the Stone Age with tools and pottery over 5,000 years old. Later different cultures settled here and left their own building marks in this territory.
