The Museo del Paesaggio occupies three buildings, including the Palazzo Viani Dugnani, which contains paintings, sculptures, and archaeological artifacts from different periods.
Antonio Massara established the museum in 1909, creating a space dedicated to preserving the artistic heritage of the Lake Maggiore region.
The museum displays works by sculptor Paolo Troubetzkoy, including busts of Toscanini, Tolstoy, and George Bernard Shaw, alongside paintings by Daniele Ranzoni.
Visitors can explore the museum from Friday to Sunday between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with entrance fees of 8 euros for adults and 5 euros for reduced tickets.
The archaeological section presents Greek and Roman artifacts, plus Celtic and Roman grave goods discovered in the Ossola Valley at Ornavasso.
