The Santuario della Beata Vergine delle Grazie di Boccadirio is a sanctuary situated on a hilltop near the Tuscan border, commanding views of the surrounding landscape from its elevated position. The main facade was reconstructed in the 1890s following an Italian architectural style typical of that era.

Construction of the sanctuary began in the late 16th century following a reported vision of the Madonna witnessed by two shepherd children in the 15th century near Rio Davena. This appearance inspired pilgrims to visit the area and established it as a place of devotion.

The name refers to the Virgin of Grace, and visitors come throughout the year to pray and spend time in quiet devotion at this sacred place. The sanctuary reflects the religious importance this location has held for believers across centuries.

The main altar displays an image of the Beata Vergine delle Grazie created by Andrea della Robbia in 1505, a significant Renaissance artwork. This piece was brought to the sanctuary through the dedication of Sister Brigida and remains one of its most valued treasures.
