The Madonna delle Lacrime Sanctuary features a bell tower constructed between 1835 and 1838, with colored glass windows designed by painter Paolo Furia.
Constructed from March 25, 1594, the sanctuary received its consecration from Cardinal Federico Borromeo on June 16, 1619, following a series of miraculous events.
The interior of the sanctuary contains notable frescoes and artworks created by prominent artists Molinari and Bernardino Butinone, representing religious themes.
The sanctuary maintains regular visiting hours and includes an adoration chapel established in 1981, welcoming both worshippers and visitors throughout the year.
The sanctuary displays the helmet and sword of General Odet de Foix, Viscount of Lautrec, during the annual miracle week celebrations.
